Larry_Sweeney Posted Friday at 07:12 PM Share Posted Friday at 07:12 PM I have a ICF basement pony wall. The lower section is 11" !CF blocks and the upper section is one row of 9" !CF blocks. I'm installing a door in the wall of the lower section and I want the hinge side of the door flush with the inside of the 11" ICF blocks. When I install the door the jamb lines up with the 9" ICF block above. (attachment 1) I unchecked "Fit jamb to Wall" in the Interior Door Specification dbx. and extended the jamb to the inside face of the 11" ICF block, but the door still remains lined up with the 9" ICF block above. (attachment 2) Is there some type of work around to get the door to the inside face of the wall or am I just missing something in the dbx. Why isn't it called "door offset". I guess I think "old school". Panel, to me, is part of a door, not "the door". There are times that make me wonder how they come up with these reference names. I suppose it's been in the specifications dbx. for some time, but this is the first instance for me. I thank you for sharing your wisdom and time with me-------------much appreciated!
