How to set up foundation plan to match existing plans

See attached images. For the life of me I can't get it to look like the existing plans.
For example, I set the interior walls to bearing walls, but it adds the footing below. Unticking the 'build footing below' option then just doesn't show it in the plans.
Also the exterior front and back door don't have a footing shown below them. :/
Surely there's a setting I'm missing.

Manually draw this thickened slabs in place. Save yourself the headache.

That's kind of what I figured, but that seems like kind of an oversight on CA's part.
How about the doors showing an empty space?

Just create a wall type for the interior footings, that has no wall or white lines for the walls. I have mine set to have a centered dashed line to represent the center line and it will get you want you want. That will probably get rid of your interior wall, door blockouts, as well. However, you can go to the main floor doors and to the 'rough opening' tab and under 'plan display' uncheck 'show in floor below' to turn them off.  I have that off by default on all my doors, except garage doors, so that I don't get those.
