Split level wall issue

I am still in X16 but promise I will upgrade this week. Here is an issue I am having with a wall intersection on this split level house. Is there an elegant solution for this that does not involve poly solids?

Hi Alan, Seeing as you're not afraid of moving the top or bottom of walls, try this:

 

Break and move the bottom corner of this wall up:

 

 

Then, in plan view, extend the drywall (Edit Wall Layer Intersections).

 

That should result in this:

Thanks. I see what you have suggested and the wall break did help somewhat. For some reason the drywall layer move is not solving the line overlay issue. I may just have to paint that out and make sure the camera animation skips that spot.
