MDancey
Hi everyone, I'm using Premier X17 After creating a vaulted ceiling in the bedroom I ended up with these unwanted dark hatched lines on the drawings. I have put red boxes around them in the attached image. Renderings show me that there is an angle to the ceiling which shouldn't be there. Does anyone know how to fix this. I think it may have happened when I raised the wall height in the bedroom so that the elevations were correct at 108" like the rest of the rooms but when I tried to put it back it didn't change the error I'm getting in the other rooms. 1. Turning off the visual of the lines would work, I can work around the small angle in the renderings and the elevations. I can't click on them and I don't see where they are part of the dialog when I open the walls or the room. 2. Fixing it so that the angle isn't there at all Thank you in advance! Gawdzira
Check for the layer "Ceiling Break Lines". Turn that layer off. What this is indicating is that your ceiling plane is higher than your plate line so that dashed line indicates the intersection point. If you draw a section across one of those lines it will be apparent. Edited Thursday at 02:46 PM by Gawdzira
MDancey
Gawdzira! I don't know you but I love you so much! Thank you. So now comes the question how did this happen, I'm going to do some looking to see if I can find what you're referring too. Your ceiling planes were lowered somewhere in your workflow. You raised the ceiling height with auto roofs turned off is the most likely culprit
Gawdzira
The 2 most annoying layers that are turned on by default are Ceiling Break Lines and Footing Step Markers.
