timmy123
Hello, I am new to Chief and trying to make a retaining wall. However, my wall sticks out of the terrain. i.e terrain break does not work, the soil behind it does not come to the height of the retaining wall. I tried using chief elevation lines but does not seem to work. Also the retaining wall is variable height i.e it starts of at 11'' and ends at 3 feet height (towards the tree in the picture). See attached pictures of original site and what I have in Chief. Please let me know what I could be doing wrong/general tips.
Mark3D
You should be able to grab the top of the wall and pull it down in a 3d view
CJSpud
Timmy: Your retaining walls should look something like I am showing in the 3D full overview below: In my example, I created a sloping terrain but made a flat elevation region in the area of the house and out in front of it. The flat region stops right about where I have started/ended my curved retaining wall. It probably would be nice if we had the option to specify how much above the terrain we want a retaining wall to build but we don't have that yet.
