DVDiva
I've asked Gemini and searched through the forums and knowledge base but can't seem to find this seemingly simple answer. I'm on the Mac version of X17 - I know how to save each Active View as a short name (like Laundry Room, Kitchen, etc.), but my tabs for each view still contain the project name, plan name and short name which makes it really hard to find the right view quickly once I have a bunch of tabs open. Where can I remove the project name and plan name and just see my short View name? Thanks!
glennw
Some text in a window tab can't be changed (like project name and view type). You can change the camera name in the camera dbx and that change will be mirrored in the windows tab. If all you want to do is hilight the active tab, you can do that in the color settings in Preferences.
KilianDrafting
https://chieftalk.chiefarchitect.com/topic/47737-open-tab-info/ It used display the plan name and shorter view name when hovering on a tab in X16, but something changed in X17. I submitted a support ticket a few months ago and supposedly they are going to fix that in the next update.
