Angled Bird Box Roof

What is the best way to achieve a gable angled bird box like this? its kind of a French country look.

copy and paste in place roof plane. Slide the two planes to connect at the pitch break and then manipulate the lower portion to the pitch desired. If I am understanding you right. Kind of similar to how I do a flared eave but opposite.

A solid would be quick and easy.  I always use CAD detail from view so as to be able to cleanly snap the lines where needed, then cut and paste it into live to make the solid.
