Depth Cue

Hi everyone,

 

I am looking for an option to fade out a certain part of my elevation. I would like 2/3 on the left hand side to be faded out whilst the 1/3 on the right hand side stays clear and crisp.

 

I played around with the depth cue function, but this only fades out from the front of the elevation towards the back of the building. I want to fade out side ways if that is possible to showcase an extension to the building.

Have you tried a semi-transparent mask?

• Essentially a Polyline with a solid white fill (about 35% transparency) in front of that portion of the elevation

I would also like to be able to fade out from back to front.

The depth cue was never built properly, its just a linear approach, it doesnt properly map depths like a true depth cue would

That's not the OP's problem.  He wanted to block areas of the elevation to indicate existing vs new.  My post above provides that funcionality.
