decorators3
HI I’m constructing a full-height basement foundation that is 8 feet tall, with dimensions of 28 feet by 30 feet, aligning with the first-floor plan, which measures 28 feet wide by 40 feet long. However, the basement foundation does not entirely match the first floor due to the foundation backing onto a rock wall. The basement will include a 20x20 garage, a 28x10 storage space, a hallway leading to the storage, and stairs to the first floor. Could you advise on how to include a 48-inch frost depth under the foundation, basement, and garage, and how to incorporate the rock wall into my elevation and 2D drawings? This will be my first time developing a full house plan, complete with schedules and elevations, so any guidance is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! GeneDavis
Show us all you have to work with. Pictures, plan views, elevations, etc. Your "backing onto a rock wall" thing needs to be better explained. Attach all directly, and not as downloads, please. As for how-to, Chief has many many instructive videos.
Rookie65
Try drawing the rock wall as a slab to the size needed, and change the material to whatever rock you want it to be
