Getting a "clean" copy of a plan

Yesterday, amid several other problems I was having with Chief, a message box popped up referencing a drawing I did two years ago.
When I created my template file, I thought I purged everything except the CAD details.

Is there a way to "clean up" a file so it does not reference any other files or inherit any properties from that file?
Thanks,

Lane

If it's your template file that you're wanting to clean up, open up your template file, and then go to File>Save as Template.  There is a dialog box that pops up that allows you to select everything you want to keep or remove.  Part of that selection is to unlink all reference files.  Then just save it as the same name, or rename it something else if you're not wanting to overwrite your old for some reason.

Not sure if that's what you're looking for or not.

Try "tools->checks->referenced plans".  In theory, it should show you all of your external references.

Hahaha....yes, in theory is the best!

I'll give the theory a try.
