BakenUser
I am working on this project and I have the roofs mostly the way I want them with the auto roofs but I have two issues. The first one is the lowered gable section where the garage roof meets the house. Any way to fix this with auto roofs? The second one is the angled section of the deck. When I put a roof over this deck with a gable on the angled section I get all kinds of funky roofs. Is there any way to do this with auto roofs or do I have to manually draw those in? Thanks for any help
tundra_dweller
Looks to me like you're well into manual roof territory with what you're trying to do there. If you post the plan someone might be able to help out, but otherwise this is a good one to learn the intricacies of manual roofs on.
Doug_N
Your best bet at getting a meaningful answer is to post the plan file.
Garybills
You can bump the angled railing out about a foot and add a short railing on each side to connect for the room(see picture). This will give you a gable with auto roof, but eventually you will have to turn them off I put the railing back and them manually adjust the roof planes. At least that gets you started and should help with the other issue.
