Building walls using interior dimensions?

I am new to Chief Architect.

 

When I draw a straight exterior wall, it is dimensioned to the exterior.  This makes it a pain to draw with the interior in mind. Which seems more intuitive since I am designing the interior.

 

I found an old post, that sort of address the ability to dimension a wall by default to the interior dimension, however it seems the UI has changed.

 

Is this possible? Thank you.

I will draw the walls to form the rooms first roughly to where i want them and then use the interior dimension tool, as you can span it accross the whole building and it creates dimensions for each room. And then click on the walls, click on the dimension which was just created, and change the number to what i want

Have you tried using the "interior template" to start your new plans?
