EBinteriors
Is my information being sold? I did a search in my X17 library for undercounter fridges, and then another search for furnishings in the Wayfair library, also in X17. Now, I am getting adds targeting me from Wayfair for undercounter fridges when I go online I did not go online for any searches for any of the above. Hey Chief Architect, any explanations? Why are you getting ads? Possibly related to any searches you made on the internet.

The more likely explanation isn’t that Chief Architect is “selling” information, but that the web searches in the library browser may trigger an interaction with a search engine — possibly Google — which could be a plausible reason why the ads are showing up. Hello EBinteriors, As the developer who worked on the "Include Web Results" feature, I can guarantee these ads did not come from usage of this feature. If that option is enabled, then library searches will include results from the Chief Architect 3D Library. VHampton Posted yesterday at 09:57 PM Share Posted yesterday at 09:57 PM Thanks for clarifying this, Eric. I’ve edited my reply accordingly. It was a reasonable assumption that the searches might have been clocked as Google searches, which could explain where the ads were coming from.
