Exterior Fence in Mid Air

Is there an obvious reason an exterior fence would be flying in mid air. It is an exterior fence vs a terrain fence.

 

If I draw a terrain fence it sits on the terrain.

I guess you mean exterior railing? Those will always draw on the same level as the structure's walls, at a level directly above the structure's subfloor.

Right, that's how it should work. What are you trying to accomplish?

Yes DB. Thank you. Open the fencing specifications>rail style> at the bottom Build From>follow terrain.
