Wall layers lapping over each other

Version - X16, but has been an issue previously

So I have an issue when I want to have a cladding junction generally with brick and a thin cladding for display in the elevations and 3-D

The air / wet / drained brick cavity is 50mm and then if the makeup of the other cladding is thinner than 50mm then the layer in the wall (the brick)  auto laps over the cladding at the junction which is an issue when I butt the window at the junction as the brick covers over the window, is there a way to control this??

I know I can 'Fake it' by adding more thickness to the thinner cladding but I like it to be real.

Attached is how it looks on the floor plan (works)

How it looks in the elevation (fails) and then a real world exsample to help explain the setup

Thanks in advance

For finer control, I would break the walls as you have done but keep the layers thickness the same for each wall (if you need the wall lengths to report to a schedule by name). Then add the brick on the "brick" wall with a wall material region. Breaking walls at a window or door is always going to create issues in Chief if you want fine control.
