Sidewalk acting as a cutout showing sky

I'm designing a Barn dominium for a customer, and this one has me stumped!!

 

I put a driveway and sidewalks around the perimeter, and now they are all acting like a hole in the grass showing the sky.  WHAT am I doing wrong?

House in the heavens, I hope you're charging extra for that?

 

anyway, like Gawdzira says, there is a layer off probably.  

 

I always select "all layers on" in situations like this to determine the culprit.  

 

Sometimes you inadvertently assign something to the wrong layer.  (in case you turn on Roads and you still see the sly)

Tony, Be sure and mark the solution on this. That way when it happens to me, or someone else, we will be able to figure out with is going on, since I know I will forget.
