Seeking help with Chief Architect X16

 Share

Recommended Posts

Adding a front porch with a roof with a higher pitch 8/12 than the main roof which has a 4/12 pitch. Having issues getting the new roof to connect with the main main and look ok. Also having issues doing a sloped vault with joists to that sloped vault that go to the top plate of the opposite wall. If you know Chief Architect well and have some paid availability to help, it would be much appreciated

File is for the sloped joists

Thanks

Hi,

I’d be happy to help with your porch roof and sloped vault framing in Chief Architect. I’ve handled similar roof pitch transitions and complex joist configurations before and can clean this up efficiently.

Please share the file, and I’ll review the specific issues with the 8/12 porch roof connection and sloped vault joists. I have paid availability this week to jump in—let me know your ideal timeline.

Looking forward to it

This is not useful for people to help you with.  Not enough context.  Upload your chief .plan file and someone will come along with a solution.  Most the people here want to help.

Good luck.
