TAG-TheArtGirl
framing in wall detail does not match any of my plan views. I was adding my own framing studs to the wall detail view and when i switch over to the working plan view or the framing plan views, my changes are not there. Can anyone help me? GeneDavis
How can we help you without knowing something about your setup? Learn to do a signature line so we know your software details (see mine?), and learn to post a plan file. as an attachment. Look at other posts here in other threads. See the plan files attached? You gotta close a file before you can post it.
DBCooper
Did you put the new studs on a layer that is not being shown in the other views? There could be other reasons they don't show but this is the most obvious thing to check. Also, it might depend on how you drew them in the cad detail. I always find it is easiest to just make a copy of an automatically built stud then it is to draw new ones. If you click on the copy tool button and then drag from the move handle, it will stay aligned between your plates. The only other thing that I can think of is if you ever rebuilt the wall framing for the wall. This would toss all of your changes and then give you the default framing. If none of this helps, then I would recommend that you post the plan that has the problem so that someone can poke around in it.
