Gtomer
Hi, Thanks for the help last time I posted. I need the door headers to display as a single solid header, not 2 2x's (Here in Cali I get brownie points for using LVL for headers) Cant seem to figure it out. Also, In an cross section cut view, the terrain doesnt seem to have a cut pattern, which is very useful. Is there a box Im not checking? My online search has left me thinking that I need to draw this CAD style manually?! Thanks

You can setup your door defaults to use the headers you want. Just set the count to 1 and the type to LVL. Also, you can group select your door defaults if you want to change them all at once to be the same style. My online search has left me thinking that I need to draw this CAD style manually?! I don't think there is anything automatic. We have some things like poche fill and "below grade" display settings in the cross section camera dialog but these won't give you a fill style for the terrain itself. I usually just use add cad manually when I need to. You can sometimes use the view to cad detail to make it easier to get a closed polyline that you can add a fill style to and then copy back into the elevation. Someone else might have some other tricks to make this easier. And, as Jason mentioned, adding pictures for what you want can really help people understand better. SHCanada2
If you want only the terrain below grade to have a pattern, you could do something as shown in this
