Sloping Floor

Not sure if this is appropriate question for this forum, this is my first time here.

 

How expensive can it get to fix a floor that has sloped, i.e. seems to be sinking, on a main floor that is above a basement that is only a crawl space? The walls of the main floor are also only about 7ft in height. The home is a 2-storey and seems well-maintained other than these issues.

probably a better forum is the off topic. This forum is for the use of the softare.

 

As well you probably need to provide more information, like are there posts underneath a beam, mid span, and is that at the same elevation as the walls

sounds like you have foundation that has settle or framing shrinkage - one of our projects we used pressure treated insead of concrete - shrink a 1/2"
