How can I extend these walls up?

I'm a novice user and have recently upgraded from sketchup to Chief Architecht. I'm trying to design a kitchen/greatroom with 12' walls and a vaulted ceiling. My question is, on the attached photo, how would I extend the two area in black up to match the existing walls and have the exterior material match vs having the interior material?

what does an interior camera view of that room look like for those walls?

Might depend on what your roof is doing in that area.  The program will usually fill in spaces that it needs to with "attic" walls but there are many ways you can mess it up (like if you try to manually edit wall top heights). 

 

Might want to post the plan so someone else can see what is going on.  You will probably need to zip it up and you should only do that when the plan isn't open.  Also, if you have lots of extra things like fixtures and furniture items, you should always get rid of them if you want to post because they take up lots of space.
