SKDesign Posted August 22 Share Posted August 22 Hello, I am a new user of chief architect and have a question about changing materials on the same 3D block. When I open the object and select the materials tab - it isn't allowing me to choose different components of the bookcase to edit it's material. I am hoping to edit different parts of the bookshelf and select materials based off of the actual version of this bookcase. Is there a way to explode the block so that I could tap into each portion of the object and select it's material without having to build the object myself? If it helps - I downloaded the 3D file directly from the vendors website. I'd appreciate any advice or tips - thanks! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
