DHerb2014
I'm having challenges with trying to block and save block to My Library symbols for X15 on PC. Keep getting error messages. Please see attachments. Have never encountered this before, very strange.
Kbird1
Are you on your "normal" computer? it appears Chief can't find the Library , your pic doesn't show anything in the Library , but that might just be the way you have the Panes setup? It could also be a file permissions issue and chief can't write to the File? M.

Chief has several KB articles that may help with Cloud Services , personally I moved my Chief Data Folder out of the Cloud due to slowness and other issue even with a 1GB ISP package. The other issue maybe your "Partner" has the file open on his end too? M
DHerb2014
My User Data is on the PC. My collaborator (out of state) and I use the Dropbox file as a shared file. He does not work in/on it while I'm using it. For example, he will place a folder such as CD Floor Plan Model in Dropbox under his username. I have his password and keep it accessible to load or work on his files that he keeps in the specific folders. This afternoon I tried to "Make Cad Block" from the icon. No problem. When I tried to save the block to my Library, it gave the error message that I posted earlier. Also getting strange error messages such as "Could not create backup file "C:/Users/MyName/Dropbox/.../X15 Plans/Project. An attempt will be made to save. You should determine why the backup could not be made and correct the problem. Possibilities include a full disk, a path name that is longer than 260 characters or disk corruption." Never had that come up in the 20+ years of using CA.
Kbird1
If it continues I would suggest you move your Chief Data Folder out of the Cloud, Dropbox and OneDrive can have side effects due to the constant live updating/backing up of Files. These days I have switched to Google Drive for collaborating with Clients. I moved my Chief Data folder in Windows 11 as Documents is automatically backed up by OneDrive, in Win11 OneDrive is insidious and seems to have taken over my computer it feels like.....especially if you also use Office 365 , it seems these days you aren't allowed to use the computer as you wish and M$ has had to dumbed things down to the lowest common denominator. things to consider.... https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-03155/sharing-projects-in-a-work-environment-that-is-utilizing-cloud-network-services.html https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-03090/moving-library-content-to-the-cloud-or-other-custom-location.html https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00911/message-cannot-find-or-open-the-file-to-save-your-plan.html https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-03132/resolving-unexpected-behavior-on-a-windows-pc-by-redirecting-the-data-folder.html
