stellarawesome
Is there a way to make this a set tool that I can add to the tool bar. If so can you point me in the right direction. It would be nice to use this exact setup for multiple plans.

SHCanada2
...well, my thought is how can the setup be the same every time, as the spans will be different. but to answer your question, i've never heard of that ability
stellarawesome
ok thank you. I was not aware if there was such a feature. In my mind I am thinking how its similar to the actual truss tool but with the details of the parallel chord truss or a scissor truss instead
glennw
You can set the defaults for roof trusses which sets the sizing and spacing of the truss members. The shape of the trusses is determined by the slope of ceiling and roof planes - the trusses fill in the space between the ceiling and roof. So the easiest way is to draw your model with the appropriate roof and ceiling planes, specify trusses as the framing method and auto build the roof framing. This is all auto once you have set the defaults.
