Stair framing question

Every time I draw a deck and add a L shape or U shape stairs to it , I cant seem to get the landing to have framing?

When the deck frames itself the stair landing doesn't and I cant find anything that will make it frame itself?

Landings do not frame. You have 2 options; manually create the framing or replace the landings with a floor (surrounded by walls / invisible walls). 

When I need to show landing framing, I create it manually.

Try drawing the Landing 1st, with the Straight Deck Edge Tool (invisible railing) and make the "Room" created a Deck,  you can use the ALT Key to draw a staircase down when needed too.
