svengustafson
I constantly have run-ins with wall intersections not behaving how one would want them to in the field. In this instance, a Y intersection with one leg being a shower curb/glass wall. By default, it keeps the 90 degree corner from the full heigh walls, but I would like it to chamfer so the curb and glazing can have a flat surface to die into (I was only able to convey this with CAD lines). How can I force the walls to do this? Attempting to add a 'third' wall as the corner will not work as it cuts the other two full height walls back and won't allow them to mesh together nicely. Cheers!
robdyck
For the short, chamfered corner, create a wall type that is a single layer, 1/2" thick, drywall material. Under Structure, set it as through wall at both ends.
GeneDavis
Then ask the framing sub how he might prefer building it.
