ehumble
Is there a way to covert an imported PDF to lines so that you can dimension it and also delete unwanted items in the PDF? Thank you.

ehumble
Ok and once its a vector file can I import it into Chief to make the edits? How do I do that? I can't seem to find a way.
Gawdzira
What are you trying to do? If you are making a floor plan, just trace the PDF after importing and scaling. It will be faster than cleaning up CADD lines. If they are CADD details, that is another story and case dependent based on what you have for images.
ehumble
I need to be able to use the PDF as is but clean it up to delete notes and dimensions for furniture layouts. I was hoping there was a way to do this without redrawing it because that is time consuming. Importing a CAD drawing works great for this but we mostly get PDF's and don't always have access to the CAD drawings so wondering if there is a way to easily clean up a PDF. DBCooper
I would look for one of the free apps that can convert a pdf to DXF or DWG. Then you can import it and modify it however you like.
