Did I do something? The dimension marker may not be refrencing that object. The dimension value will change color when the object it references is selected, indicating that changing the value will move that object. Try hitting tab to select the next object and see if the value lights up, or add a new dimension marker to the center of the cabinet where you know that's what it's referencing.
