DH7777
So I cannot seam to adjust my material definition on the James Hardie siding anymore. When I get inside the material definition dialog box I used to be able to adjust the color, click OK and it was done. Now I get this "create a copy" nonsense. It still doesn't work. And it just started doing this yesterday. I have changed nothing that I know of. I do not want to make a copy of any material. What I want is to simple adjust the color like I always have done prior to upgrading to X15. (which btw was working in x15 the way it was in my earlier version then all of the sudden it will not reflect the color change after clicking OK anymore) This is frustrating me please tell me what I am doing wrong... tundra_dweller
If you're using the "rainbow" tool to adjust your material definition make sure you have the scoping set to plan level. If you have it set to a lower level of scoping (component, object, etc.,) then you will most likely be prompted to make a copy of the material. OK, I WILL LOOK AT THAT THANKS
DBCooper
You can also just choose "edit source material" in the "create copy of material" dialog.
