trusses are showing birds mouth cut over wall

see attached pic this is my first project I'm trying to get this small section to draw trusses sitting on top of both top plates.  When roof is built it puts top of top cord lower than top of wall.

what is your heel height?

not sure where to find that.  I have the wall height set at 109 1/8" and locked but when it builds it it does this

it is showing the plates missing at each corner is this a drop cord setting some where?

No such setting. But if your roof plane is generating too low walls will be cut down to fit under them.
you probably just need to lift that roof plane up so its sitting where you want it.

Take a cross section of that area and see where it's at, figure out how much it needs to come up and raise the roof plane by that amount.

I have another question about putting a fake dormer on top of the truss and roof sheeting.  This is a customer request and not my idea but have to do what they want!  is there a way to do this or just have to fake it in the drawing?

it doesn't cut away the actual materials but it controls how the framing generates.

to fo this, select the roof planes, then click the transform replicate button, and specify a positve number for Z.

 

But really this should just build properly without having to do that. You might want to post the plan
