rskdev
Hello, I have been trying to find more info on how to do this. But it seems that there is not a lot. I need to understand the process to accomplish what I describer in the title Heading. I am a CA user since version 10. Maybe someone can provide me with the right steps to accomplish this. Photo of what I am looking to do attached. Its an Outdoor Grilling area that the client wants to cover. The hole at the top would let the smoke out X8 USER. Chopsaw
I think I would start with an auto polygon deck and make the railing visible and change the floor to a Mono Slab. Auto build the roof and copy all the roof planes and raise the copy 6-8 inches and draw the fascia up to the top at the size you want. Then place a break in the original roof planes at the top and draw them back. A couple of well placed cad polygons will give you snap points. This one took me 20 minutes but I am slow. Maybe 8-10 minutes the second time but yours will take a little longer with the extra detail.
