How to convert a pvc window section to molding

I am working on some 3d section details and I want to use a pvc window section as a molding.

I have built the polyline and subtracted the cores, when i make it a molding ca does not remove cores.

 

Is this possible to do? If so how do you do it?

Did you classify the hollows as holes?

I had to cut polyline through all the cores so it wasn't closed at all(if you look close you can see cuts), specifying holes does not work.

Consider posting a suggestion to be able to nest polylines and create holes so as to be able to make hollow moldings.

Here is the polyline with the legs of the extrusion pulled away from each other, you can see there will be no closed cells.
