Shed roof into Main roof

Gargage Roof.pdfHi, I'm using CA 12.  I am trying to add a shed roof from, in this case, a concrete apron, to the main roof of my structure (picture explains it much better than I am).  I know this is a loaded and broad question but how do you do this?  I can't find a tutorial online.   I think I have to add a post and beam on 3 sides to get a gable wall, but is there a way to make the two roofs tie together?  Any help would be appreciated.
