BalutFX
Please excuse the Newb question. I am trying to find an easier way to model the trim pieces shown in the attached photo for the exterior side of a pony wall. We plan to use corrugated metal similar to the pictured home (which was completed by my builder). I know how to include the wall cap, but aside from manually creating the trim for all the walls, I was hoping for an easier solution. Thanks. DBCooper
I can think of several ways although I am not sure which way is "best". - you could use a molding polyline. - you might be able to use a stacked molding for the wall cap that also includes the bottom piece - you could create a thin cabinet just like we use for interior wainscotting. BalutFX
Thanks. I thought about stacking, but it doesn't appear to be available for wall cap moldings. I'll play around with the cabinet idea. Thanks again.
BalutFX
I ended up using poly lines. Thanks again for the suggestion. I hadn't used that tool yet.

This has been my go to with this exact scenario. Cabinets give lots of control for Wainscot.
