Thanks for the resources list. One of my favorite phone apps for field measure is called Pitch Gauge. Super helpful roof pitch display if you can get your phone to reach a rafter tail. The other day I used it by reaching up with my clipboard to gain some height and then used the parallel edge to place my phone.
