CopperHorse
Howdy! I am trying to frame a simple horse stable 12' x 12' using 4x4 members and the program defaults to traditional framing and I haven't found a way to make a simple shed. I've done complex geodesic homes but the stable has me stumped, lol. In short, no foundation as it can't be permanently fixed so I plan on using 4x4 skids and basically just 4x4s on the corners and as top and bottom plates. Basically, I want to be able to stick frame a shed but the program is just too ambitious. It probably doesn't help that I'm using an antiquated Chief Architect V5 but here I am. Any tips to start? Thank You for your time!

In X5 you might also need to make a new "Framing" Material with the correct stud spacing and size too. This old post might help too ?
