Huey18
I have a house I designed long before I tweaked my process recently. It's a three story house that I'd like to copy or import into a new plan file that is all set-up the way I'd like. So far the only way I've been able to figure out a way to do this is to select everything on each floor in the old plan file, and the paste into a corresponding floor in the new plan file. This does not work well- floor heights and all sorts of things don't end up in the right place. Does anybody know of a good way to import a whole project into a different plan file? Goal here is to update the old design with camera views and plan settings that I've developed in this new file. Thanks!
Chopsaw
What version was the file last saved with ? If it is a .plan file you should be able to open it with your new version.
rgardner
Depending on what you are looking to accomplish. 1.) Edit>Edit Area>Edit Area (All Floors) copy and paste into new plan, but you will have to set your floor defaults that way (unless you use the import default settings from the old plan assuming it is the same version) 2.) Import your wall types, layer sets, saved plan views, & Default sets from your new file to your old file assuming they are the same version.
