The terrain feature rests on the surface of the terrain. Smooth out the terrain there and the terrain feature, Driveway, or Road you placed on  top of that terrain will also smooth out. You adjust your "Terrain Elevation Objects" to do the smoothing of that area>

I think for driveways like this, another approach is needed.

 

Use a terrain feature to cut a hole out for the space occupied by the driveway.

 

Then, use a combination of ramps and solid tools to precisely create your sloping driveway.

 

Your textures and fills will also behave as expected (which is actually the least of your problems based on the image)

 

This will give you better information in a cross section for you to relate to the guys who will be doing the work.
