MTL-Homes Posted February 19, 2022 Share Posted February 19, 2022 Tried everything I can to get the wall intersections to look right with the "edit wall layers intersections" tool but really haven't had much luck. In General wall intersections look right till you have more than one wall intersecting at the same point. Thoughts anyone ? MTL-Homes Posted February 19, 2022 Author Share Posted February 19, 2022 Actually discovered that be redefining wall types to include all layers in Main Layer the intersections look better and the "edit wall layers intersections" tool seem to be more functional. I’m also curious about your suggestion regarding putting all layers on main layer. Can’t be a good idea. But if it is then I’d like to know as well. MTL-Homes Posted February 19, 2022 Author Share Posted February 19, 2022 So, yeah there are definitely issues with moving all wall layers into the main layer section, IOt does make wall intersections look better but creates dimensioning and platform issues. Partition wall being checked should not be used in most conditions , Chief's Walls normally join on their Center Line, and this setting tries to stop that happening with the wall "touching" the other wall's surface only.
