rollerroman
Hello, This seems like it should be really simple, and that I must be doing something wrong, but I can't find an answer. When I am drawing a CAD line, how can I easily adjust the length? I know that I can open the object properties, but doing this requires more work than it should. In other CAD programs I have used, you simply start drawing the line and then type in the length you want, is there anything similar in Chief, or is it only by opening the object properties? Thank you,
Solution Chopsaw Posted June 7, 2021 Solution Share Posted June 7, 2021 Just one extra key stroke. Start drawing and then hit tab to enter the length.
Dermot
There are a lot of ways to draw lines and adjust the length/angle after the fact. Since you have come from another cad program, I would encourage you to watch some of the training videos: https://www.chiefarchitect.com/videos/playlists/97/cad-tools.html
rollerroman
Thank you, hitting tab was the right answer. I watched the videos, if it was in there, I must have missed it.
