Michael_Gia
When I print to pdf from a vector view I get these faint white lines. I tried searching this forum but couldn't find anything. What's causing this? Thanks!
rlackore
When a PDF is created, filled areas are broken into multiple triangles. Some PDF viewers have difficulty displaying these triangles properly, and the result is the imperfect smoothing (anti-aliasing) at the boundaries. The printed output should be correct - it's just the on-screen display that is wonky. These articfacts can be better or worse depending on: 1) The complexity of the filled area's geometry. 2) The DPI of the exported PDF. 3) The PDF printer. 4) The PDF viewer. Check your PDF viewer's options, and turn off anti-aliasing; this may provide a more acceptable on-screen result.

Expand I don't know why, but if you use a different rendering technique for your camera instead of Vector View those lines will go away.

Expand Oh yea... and if you're printing from a layout and you send as Plot Lines with color fill they should disappear too.. using Vector View. Not sure if Pattern Line or Edge Line defaults effects it... I use Pattern Line
