lavorhaynie
How do the experts deal with this? Second floor exterior wall with a sloped roof plane against the wall. Wall passes by the roof plane and becomes an interior wall. How do you change from an exterior wall with siding to an interior with drywall, following the slope of the roof? robdyck
My personal preference is to use an interior wall, and in elevation view, I'll add the siding using a solid. I like that option because it's the dumbest option... meaning it won't continually change or jump around on me. I find it just as quick as any other tool / method. But then again, you were asking for expert opinion so just disregard this!

Unless you (the OP) wants/needs the material list quantity correct. Works good, though, for quirky wall situations where the 3D or elevations is all you are after and the wall just won't behave.
