madcowscarnival
I have two 30'x60' mfg. buildings in a 'T' shape. One is a garage, one is living area. The common wall between the buildings is being included in the Living area calculations (I'm assuming) indicating a living space of 1809 sq. ft. rather than 1800. Is it possible to instruct the program to disregard that specific wall area or should I just manually modify? Our AHJ takes the outside dimension (30x60) and is asking for a correction to 1800. Chopsaw
Use the Standard area calculation for each room and " Exclude from Total Living Area Calculation " the Shop and each room label will read 1800 and your Living area total will read 1800. Dermot
If you want to see what the program is actually using for your living area, select the outside of the building and use the Make Living Area Polyline tool. You could then edit the shape of this polyline to include or exclude whatever you want and then display your own custom label.
