dadofthomas
Hello, I have a bunch of recessed lights on sloping ceiling at 3/12 or 22.5 degrees. I adjusted the light data, but the renderings came out with light splashing out the edges of the lights. Any thoughts?
Chopsaw
It would be helpful to see a screen shot of sample rendering as it may just be "Bloom" you are seeing depending on what version you are using.
Alchemyjim
In the recessed can DBX go to Light Data. Under Offset, set the dimension From Base to 6". You can play with that offset dimension based on the pitch of the roof.
Alchemyjim
This image was not rendered very long but it shows how the Offset Distance effects the end product.

I would second Jim's suggestion and add that changing from a point light to a spot would give you additional control with cut off angle and drop off rate
