agenoarch
I'm trying to change the wall hatch default from the angle hatch to a solid transparent and I can not find it anywhere and I'm tired of hatching and picking them to change it to what I want. Any help? Thanks Sal
Alaskan_Son
Unfortunately, we don’t currently have a hutch default. There are a few options but the easiest is to just use the eye-dropper/painter. You might even consider making yourself a hatch style palette that you can quickly drop in the plan and used to transfer styles.
agenoarch
Thanks for the help maybe this is wish list item and it seems simple enough for the guru's at CA to put into X12
DavidJPotter
What I currently do is to create custom wall types where I can dictate the fill or lack of fill at will, for instance the City of Austin, Texas (where I live) requires that demo walls in as-built/Demo plans be solid black and in proposed remodeling plans that the same fill is used to show new construction walls in proposed plan views, so that is what I do for them which basically does what you want but NOW. I always create two separate plans for each remodeling project so each plan file then shows what the Plan Checker at the Permit Authority sees what he or she wishes to see.
