8105pj
I have recieved a chief plan file from a retired Designer ( version 9 ) he thinks. Has has come with the files separated, ie. PLO, PL1, P12 PB1 , PB2, etc. Is there any way to conbine these under one file so that I can open it in X9. Thanks, PJ
glennw
You can download the Chief X8 Viewer from the Chief website. This will open the old plans and save them in the new .plan and .layout formats. From memory, it will do multi-floors in one go - ie, open one floor and Chief will also open the other floors automatically and save all the associated floors into the new .plan file. Chopsaw
Click the X8 Desktop Viewer Link in the Green box to download. https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00279/opening-legacy-files.html
