karenmbruns
How do I get rid of halos/glare that is appearing at crown molding, around door ways, cabinets, etc. in ray trace view? Do I need to change the default for interior ambient light?
TheKitchenAbode
Place a roof on your structure, it's what we call light bleed. You can also reduce the sun intensity but best to use a roof.
Kbird1
Yep Bleed...., always build a Roof (or second story) and a Foundation even if you Model doesn't need one , CA uses them to "bounce" the light around in Raytrace and PBR views to some extent. I have also seen issues with Wall Definitions causing this in some plans posted here..... eg using interior walls for exterior walls M.
karenmbruns
So I put the roof on a complicated plan using auto build roof. After I edited the roof I had the X's from the roof intersections and I can't get rid of them. What do I do?

If you don't want them to show up at all? .......... disable them in Preferences...... see pic. Don't forget to do your Signature Please.... the Software Version in particular makes a difference on many answers, ie X7 is very different than X10. M.
