traceysafar
Need help with placing objects such as paneling/wainscoting or picture frames on a curved wall. If the wall is concaved, the ends of the object are visible and the center sinks in to wall.. Conversely, if the wall convex the ends of the object ie.. corners sink into wall and only center is visible. Object, polyline solids etc. Do not conform to shape of wall. TheKitchenAbode
Try using Wall Material Regions, they will conform to the wall. They are not really any different than a polyline solid other than their linking to the wall surface.
Chopsaw
Interesting situation which would be the same in real life as there would definitely be issues with hanging a flat picture on a curved wall. You could use the symbol offset if you really want a flat picture on a curved wall that sticks out at the corners or middle. Maybe a better idea would be to make the painting into a window symbol that will match the curve of the wall. Or possibly a wall material region but have not tried that yet.
