GMBKitchens
While using the "point to point" dimension tool, what am I doing wrong that my dimensions seem not in like with cabinet edges? Usually I have to do it about 4-7 times to do it where it looks right. Very frustrating.
DavidJPotter
Point to point creates its own dimension points relative to where you left click and release the mouse. I never use those for cabinet elevations. What I do you is the "end to end" dimension tool for cabinet elevations. Check it out and see for yourself. You may find that the Point to Point Tool is "snapping" to the GRID rather than where you are left clicking exactly , you can disable the GRID temporarily if needed , you will find that the Tape Tool is also effected by this if GRID Snapping is on.
