Room over a room, well sort of

Wow I seem to get all the jobs that are really difficult to do in CA. 

 

Maybe it is just me, and I don't have a grasp of how to do unusual things yet.  I don't know.

 

In any case can someone please tell me how to do this floor area?  The room is a split level from other floor areas in the house.  And the ceiling IN THE ROOM is split level.  Arrrgggg.  Sure would be nice if I could do a poly wall with half of it invisible.  Can that be done?  Any suggestions would be very welcome.

Here is about as close as I could get with a test building.  This has 3 stories but even though the wall is set to invisible on the third floor for the room in the center, one surface remains visible when viewed from the room on the right.  The goal here is to have a very short room with what could be described as a crawl space.  This is an as build situation.  I have been tearing out what little hair I have out.

Your split level "entry" needs to be a room definition with adjustments made in the structure tab.

This is not the entry.  The entry is ok.  This is a room that is over a garage.  The second floor juts into the garage.  Maybe my test building doesn't show that very well.

 

I will be darned.  When I aligned the walls for the second and third story, the invisible was was, well, invisible.  It works.  Thanks to anyone who puzzled over this.

When you aligned walls it stopped the drywall layer that was imposing on your second floor in orig post pic.
